Air Sampling

Air sampling is used to determine the type and amount of airborne contamination in a building. This may be helpful if the presence of mold, allergens or toxins is suspected, but cannot be identified and/or confirmed through a visual inspection. Samples of both indoor air and outdoor air are taken while the air conditioner is operating to ensure that indoor air is effectively tested.

Swab Sampling

Swab samples are usually taken from visible mold sources by wiping the area with a sterile swab to identify the type of mold that is present.

Following visual, air and/or swab inspections, recommendations may be made to clean up, remove and prevent future contamination. If mold is found, our duct cleaning service can thoroughly clean your system to eliminate all mold, as well as other allergies such as dust and dirt. The underlying source and cause of the mold must also be correted. All Year Cooling's technicians will recommend indoor air quality products that work to kill and eliminate mold spores in the air before they become a problem.
