The majority of Carrier products feature the WeatherArmor system to guard against the elements and to improve the durability of the outdoor unit. The Silencer System II is also included with many Carrier products to ensure quiet operation. This includes quiet motor mounts, a compressor sound blanket, forward swept fan blades, laminated sound elimination compressor mounting plate and a top with silencer airflow baffle to further reduce noise levels.
